The work completed by Sure for Scottish Power in Ireland on the development of wind power projects led to the creation of Barnesmore Wind Farm. This project demonstrates the environmental capabilities offered by the Sure Consulting’s expertise.

The scope of the work completed by Sure involved site location, obtaining wind regime data for 12 months, land acquisition and interconnector agreements for the National Grid.

Barnesmore Wind Farm consists of 25 Vestas 600kW machines creating enough energy for 15,000 homes whilst still providing local farmers and walkers use of the fields and pathways.
